DESCRIPTION:2026 Commodore’s Bluefish Tournament Rules \n\nContest date is Sunday\, September 27\, 2026\nFishing time is 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM\nEntrance fee is $20.00 per person.\nOpen to any member and guests.\nContest participants must fish on an EEYC members’ boat.\nAll fish to be caught on a rod and reel or handline.\nRoster lists must be submitted no later than 5pm Sat. Sept. 19\, 2026\nWeigh-in time will be 1:PM to 2:PM. Must be at the scale by 2PM sharp.\nPrizes to be awarded based on the weight of un-gutted fish only:\n\n          1st Prize – $200.00 for heaviest fish\n          2nd Prize – $100.00 for the 2nd heaviest fish\n          3rd Prize – $50.00 for the 3rd   heaviest fish \n*****  Same person may not qualify for more than one prize  **** \nCONTEST BOUNDRIES ARE WITHIN LONG ISLAND SOUND \n\nAll fish must be brought in by boat and weighed in at the EEYC by a member of the fish contest committee.\nPerson submitting fish for weigh in must be on a submitted roster and the person who caught the fish.\nAll prize fish may be subject to inspection by a fishing committee member.\nViolations of any of the above rules eliminates the entire boat roster.\nYour choice of fish must be done prior to weigh in. No exceptions.\nIn case of a tie (two fish of equal weight) first fish weighed-in places higher.\n\n (Payment must be cash)
