COSTUME NOTE TO ALL: To get into the spirit of things we would encourage you to dress in the time period (Late 1920′ to early 1930’s). This is not mandatory however. there are a list of costumer suggestions below.  You should NOT wear anything expensive or any article of clothing that you love.  You may become a victim during the course of this mystery!

MEN:
Handkerchief in the pocket, carnation in the lapel, gloves w/a top hat, canes for elegance not function.  Ties were medium width or bowed in solid, striped or polka dots. Suspenders. Wide-bottomed trousers & zoot suits. Double-breasted suits.  Spats.  Black or brown tie shoes. Flat tops, boaters, fedoras, golf caps, top hats.

 WOMEN:
Day: close hats, turbans, short brimmed straw.
Night: headbands of beads, sequins or lame w/feathers. Scarves wrapped around the head and knotted on the side.

• Any length glove depending on dress and time of day.
• small, beaded purses, usually clutch.
• Earrings: dangling but not too outrageous for day’; dangling, bold beads, sequins, rhinestones for night.
• Necklaces: Very long pearl beads often complemented by a ribbon or beaded chocker.
• Bracelets: rhinestone, bangle.
• black, white or fishnet stockings.
• flat heeled slippers or short heeled pumps.
